House Colors Day

Today was a fun day!
We began the day with a house game in the gym. Maya showed great support for KIP! Good job Maya!
When we came into our classroom it was time for Drama class with Mr. Monaghan. Next we had healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we read a book from Robert Munsch titled: We Share Everything. The book deals with sharing and it gives students an idea of things we can share and things we can not share at school. After the reading, we brainstormed and JKs came up with the following list:
Great participation from everyone!
Then, students drew a picture of something they would share at school, they were also encouraged to write the name of the object with assistance.
Next, they had French class.
In Math, students had play dough mats to form number 1-5 and represent quantity.
In our UOI we watched a short clip about respect: http://youtu.be/MOiyD26cJ2A
Then we talked about the movie and ways we can show respect to each other.
To finish off the day we had the prize box (every Friday students receive a prize if they have a good week), gym class and story time.

Have a great weekend everyone!
