Happy Monday!

Cold day today!
But we still had a lot of fun!
We began the day with morning circle time led by Lennard (we are glad you are back!) and healthy snacks.
In journal writing students were encouraged to write/draw about their favourite TV show.
In our am hands on activity we made an elephant collage using small pieces of paper (great for fine motor skills).
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song about Ellie Elephant. Next we completed a page where students practiced formation of upper and lower case e.
In Math we reviewed our sorting rule: we can sort by size, shape and color. Students had a bin with all sort of balls in it. Together we completed the following chart:

In the afternoon we had our UOI where we started a booklet titled: "I am special!"
Students will share and record information about themselves throughout this week.
Then we had centers and Gym class.
No French today as Mme. Stella is sick.
Have a great evening everyone!

Look at them...hard at work!
