Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time led by Layla and healthy snacks.
In Language we met our new animal friend of the week: Mickey Monkey. We then made a list of familiar words that begin with M and sang our phonics song and completed a page of our ABeka Writing with Phonics workbook. Students practiced tracing and writing upper and lower case M.
After that we made friendly monsters. Students had so much fun doing a lot of cutting (great for hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills).
In the afternoon we read the book "Go Away Big Green Monster!" and played Math games.
Students attended Drama, French and Gym classes today.
Have a great evening everyone and remember to vote! :)
