Fun Day

Today our day was a bit different!
In the morning we had Ms. Bannon's class joining our class for our morning calendar and healthy snacks. Next we talked about our families and how many people are in our family. Then students drew a picture of their families, we then compared the number of people in each family. This activity is part of our Math Makes Sense - Number Sense unit.
Students then had some time to do reading groups.
In the afternoon we had a special visit from Dairy Farms of Ontario.
The workshop was about milk products and how we get milk to our tables.
Here is the link for more information about the program: http://education.milk.org/
The workshop was very interactive and students had fun singing and learning about cows.
Have a great weekend everyone!
