It was great to see everyone today!
We began the day with lots of stories. Students were excited to share what they did during the break.
Students had circle time and snacks.
Right after snacks we had Drama class with Mr. Monaghan.
In Language we completed our journal writing about the winter break, where students were encouraged to draw pictures and/or write short words describing the picture.
After lunch students had Gym class (today was in a different time). Next in Math we began a new unit on Patterning. We talked about different patterns and then created patterns using seashells and dinosaurs.
Students then participated in reading buddies. That was part od of daily five program - listening to reading.
After second recess, we had centers. Students had the choice of writing words on the board, stamp punch or puzzles.
Have a great evening everyone!
