Great Day!

We started our morning with circle time and healthy snacks. Students were excited to know that there are only 22 days until the 100th Day of School. More information to come regarding the 100th Day of School!
As part of our Daily Five - work on words we completed an activity where students worked on words that end with at sound. Take a look:

Next, we worked on our Writing with Phonics K5 workbook. Students practiced correct letter formation and also worked on writing short words.

After lunch and indoor recess we had story time and songs.
In Math we made 22 attached pattern rings. We will take one out for every day until we reach to 100th Day of School. This way we will make math more visual for students. :)

Next, we created patterns using math counters.

As part of our centers time today we painted apple patterns. Awesome job JKs!

To finish off the day we had the Daily Five - read to self. Students enjoyed reading grade level books.

Today students attended Drama, French and Gym classes.
