Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks. Lennard was the special helper today and he was happy to take one more ring out of our 100th day of school chain.
In Language Arts we started with our daily five - read to someone and then we moved on to daily five - word work. Students cut and paste pictures that end with at sound.
After lunch and indoor recess we had our daily five - listen to reading. In Math we cut and paste pictures to complete patterns.
Next we worked on our India project. Today a couple of students from Mrs. Chin's class came to our class to help us organize the pictures in our boards. Everything is looking pretty good. Students helped by copying the titles and labeling the pictures.
Today we also reviewed the colors of the flag: orange - courage, green - faith, white - peace. Ask your child what's the meaning of each color!
After second lunch and outdoor recess we watched a short video: Habits - from Bernstain Bears.
Students attended French and Gym classes today.
