Snowy Monday!

Today everyone was very excited to play in the snow.
In Language we worked on our Writing with Phonics ABeka book. Students practiced correct formation of the consonants and also identifying the beginning and ending sound by looking at pictures.
We also spent some time working on cvc words (consonant/vowel/consonant). Students had to cut and paste the pictures and match to the correct written word.
In Math we looked into 2D shapes and students used geoboards to produce the basic 2D shapes.
In our UOI/Journal we completed a sentence about Christmas, colored and decorated a Christmas tree picture.
Today students participated in reading groups, French and Gym classes.
They all loved to go outside and play with snow. Please, label all child's winter gear and send in snow pants.
Enjoy the pictures and have a great evening!
