Today we began our day with morning circle time led by Ashrith and healthy snacks.
In Language we wrote in the journals. Students were asked to complete the following sentence: "Snow is _________." Students have been encouraged to write words phonetically, start the sentence with upper case, use of finger space and end mark. Please, when your child write his/her name at home, remind your child of only using upper case for the first letter. :)
We then, had reading groups.
In Math we reviewed the 3D shapes ad students completed a page where they had to draw a real life object correspondent to each 3D shape. They also had to write the name of the object.
In our UOI we painted our hand print as we are working on a small class art project.
Today students had Gym class.
Have a great weekend!
