Rainy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we had our daily five - read to self, then students listened to a story about insects. In the journals today we wrote: "My favourite insect is _______."
For students who finished early, they also worked on their Writing with Phonics book.
After lunch and recess, we read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and then completed an activity where students had to cut and paste the correct order of a the life cycle of a butterfly.

In Math we worked on numeracy and also talked a little bit about coins. We will be learning coins for the next couple of weeks.

To finish off the day we had centers and story time.
Today JKs attended French class.
Have a great evening everyone!
