Happy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In language arts we completed the journals and also spent some time finishing work from the past couple of weeks.
Next, students participated in the daily five - read to self and read to someone.
After lunch and outdoor recess, in Math we worked on numeracy. Students worked on writing numbers 1-9 and also counting objects in a set.
Next, we worked on our Math unit on measurements. Students had to identify the longest and the shortest objects.
In our UOI we worked on categorizing living and non-living pictures. Students worked in groups for this activity.
To finish off the day we had centers and story time.
Today students attended reading buddies, Drama, French and Gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
