Happy and cold Tuesday!

Ok, 24 days until Spring! The countdown is on!
Today we began the day with morning circle time and the Pancake breakfast!
In Language Arts we worked on our daily five - read to self and also in our Writing with Phonics, where students practiced correct letter formation. For early finishers we also worked on cutting and pasting upper case with lower case letters.
In Math we worked on numeracy. We are completing pages of a booklet that focus on the following:
Learn correct number formation for the numbers 0-20.
Trace and write the number.
Show the number in a tens frame.
Color the number word.
Find the number.
Color the correct amount of cubes.
Hop to the correct number.
Solve a number equation.
Write a sentence using the number word.
Draw a picture to match.
Color the correct amount of stars.
Decompose the number by tens and ones.

Students use math counters and manipulatives to complete the activities listed above.
To finish off the day we had centers and story time.
Today students attended Drama, French and Gym classes.

Have a great evening everyone and stay warm!
