Happy and cold Friday!

I'm glad we stayed indoors today!
We began the day with circle time and snacks. In language arts we had our daily five - read to self and then we worked on beginning sounds. Students cut and paste pictures to put in the correct box.
Next we had our poem competition in the SK room. It was a tough decision as many of the students worked so hard!
The following students were selected to go on stage: Lexi, Honor and Aashrith
In Math we worked on numeracy: correct number formation and counting.
Next we had centers. Today students enjoyed exploring with Lego, play dough and costumes.
Today students attended Gym, French, Drama classes and we had the Show and Tell presentations.
Here are students presenting their poem:
Sorry for the blurry pictures :)
