Happy Monday!

Today we begun the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In the morning we worked with numeracy and phonics. For numeracy students completed pages where they counted objects in a set and then circle the correct number. For phonics, students looked at the picture at the beginning of each row and then circled the correct beginning sound or the correct vowel. In the morning we also practiced for the Spelling Bee. Please, keep on practicing at home as well. Students are instructed to say the word before starting spelling and then repeat the word after they are done spelling, just so the judges will know they finished spelling.
In the afternoon we worked with patterns and also practiced for Arts Night.
We had centers and daily five - listen to reading and read to someone, students attended Gym, French and Drama classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
